You can operate the TK-2170K and TK3170K with FleetSync™ Digital Messaging PTT ID & emergency ID or operate in covert mode with the built-in voice scrambler and voice operated transmission. A Key Pad model is also available for additional DTMF signaling requirements.

The rugged, military standard construction meets the latest in handheld design and is built to take on every weather or durability test you can throw at it including driven rain into the face of the radio.
