Kenwood's TK3173K portables offer enhanced LTR Trunking features for the budget conscious in the UHF band. Weighing in at only 12 oz's and measuring only 1 1/4" deep, these tough little radios have the rugged versatility to meet the demands of security companies, police, fire, hospitals or construction companies.

Inversion scrambling provides first level voice security and Encryption/ANI control adds system-compliant higher level voice security and dispatch functions. Full FleetSync includes PTT ID, Caller ID and non-voice status and text messaging storage, recall and display. FleetSync, DTMF or Two-Tone Selective Call provides built-in talkback paging capability.

The rugged, military standard construction meets the latest in handheld design and is built to take on every weather or durability test you can throw at it including driven rain into the face of the radio.
